Russell Guillette - Technology Executive Focused on Sustainability

A technology executive and sustainability strategist, Russell Guillette is the owner and managing member of Guillette & Companies, LLC, where he focuses on energy transition life cycle analyses, environmental product declarations, and intellectual property management for biofuels and biochemicals. He has spent over two decades working on carbon management solutions for legacy industries, including life cycle assessments for both biofuels and fossil fuels. Russell Guillette's work also involves digital materials and product passports to support compliance with sustainability standards.

Previously, Mr. Guillette served as the director of research and technology development at the University of Texas at Austin, where he worked on commercializing intellectual property within the College of Engineering and the College of Natural Sciences. He also served as a White House liaison to the Department of Defense and held roles in business development and intelligence analysis. He earned a master of arts from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor of arts and science from Vanderbilt University.

Mr. Guillette advises academic engineering projects and supports sustainability initiatives. He has also contributed to charitable efforts, including fundraising for Rivers of Mercy Children’s Home. His personal interests include mountain hiking, skiing, baking, and staying on top of advancements in energy transition and environmental sustainability.
